About Kea Systems
Kea Systems creates WEB based social service software for Regional Centers and Vendors in California's Department of Developmental Services. Our goal is to produce software solutions that answer the needs of this community and assist in producing positive outcomes for the population that they serve.
Kea's mission is to create state of the art software in partnership with social service agencies so they may deliver higher quality services and supports to the population they serve. Together, we believe we can create a healthier and enriched environment, foster independence and promote fulfilling lives as we produce positive outcomes for those in need.
From our earliest beginnings, over thirty years ago, we realized the importance and value of our people. We have assembled a staff of dedicated professionals who share a common mission - to deliver the best software products and support services possible to the social service community. The software developers / founders of Kea authored Virtual Chart, a case management program in use by agencies of the State of California.
When Virtual Chart was first released, its quality and effectiveness were clear; but it was written for large agencies with thousands of clients, hundreds of case managers and its functionality was specific to those agencies. For many years, the software needs of similar, but smaller social service organizations including direct providers of services and supports, was evident but such software was underprovided.
With the growing capabilities and acceptance of the Internet to deliver software functionality came the vehicle necessary to deliver software like Virtual Chart to the small agency with as few as one or two case managers. To benefit from the full capabilities presented by the Internet, Kea Systems brings together the various expertise and experience necessary to insure the delivery of a quality and cost-effective product.
